Thoughts From the Box: Georgia Defeats Notre Dame 23-17

September 21, 2019

Thoughts From the Box:

The Georgia Bulldogs escaped a tough Notre Dame team tonight in Sanford Stadium with a final score of 23-17.

It wasn’t a pretty game, especially in the first half, but big throws late from Jake Fromm and a great defensive effort helped the Bulldogs escape with a close victory.

That Notre Dame team played very hard. They were fast and physical on defense in the first half, holding Georgia to just 7 first-half points. They contained Georgia’s rushing attack for the most part, something many experts were not expecting.
