BREAKING: 2021 DB David Daniel Has Committed to Georgia
The Bulldogs continue their good work in the 2021 class, earning their second commitment in four-star safety David Daniel of Woodstock (GA).
The 6-foot-2 185-pounder chose the Bulldogs over Notre Dame, Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Duke, among others.
Daniel visited Georgia this past weekend, and instead of dropping his “top schools”, he decided to commit to the in-state Georgia Bulldogs.
Daniel was offered by the Bulldogs in mid-January and the staff has shown him a ton of interest ever since.
So what are the Bulldogs getting in Daniel?
Size and athleticism. Daniel is a long safety type who knows how to play physical. Not only does he have great ball skills, but he enjoys contact and has no problem stepping up and helping in the run game. He makes a lot of plays from the secondary, but he’s a guy who can be moved around due to his size and over skill-set. He can cover big receivers and tight ends, or drop down in the box and help against the run.
Daniel is the No. 2 ATH, the No. 5 player in Georgia, and the No.41 overall prospect in the 2021 class.
