Jake Fromm Makes Regional Cover of Sports Illustrated
This isn't the kind of fame a lot of people from middle Georgia generally garner. But after two stellar seasons, Jake Fromm has earned it.
Fromm has had one of the best starts to a career in Georgia football history, and that has gotten recognized by the national media. After winning an SEC Championship, appearing in another and claiming a Rose Bowl for UGA, Fromm was announced as one of four players to make a regional cover of Sports Illustrated.
🎶 Just an old sweet song keeps Georgia on my mind. 🎶

Fromm was the only SEC player to make the cover, beating out Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa for the lone spot. Joining Fromm is Celmsonon quarterback and Heisman-favorite Trevor Lawrence, Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger and Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert.
It’s been a continuation of attention received by Fromm, and it makes sense. The Warner Robbins product is a third-year starter on a team with the third-best odds to win the National Championship. Fromm himself is in the top-six best-odds to win the Heisman Trophy this winter.
It’s a great honor for Fromm, and if things go right this season for him and the Bulldogs, he may not be sharing that cover with anyone else this January.
