5-star RB Kendall Milton To Announce Top Group

Could “RBU” be coming close to adding a new member?

He might not be on the verge of a commitment, but five-star running back Kendall Milton‍ has made plans to announce his top group of schools this upcoming Friday.

The nation’s number-3 rated running back out of Buchanan (CA) is a major Bulldog target and is coming off his first UGA visit last month for G-Day. The 6-foot-2 220-pound running back was shown the red carpet during his visit and has told Dawg Post in the past that he stays in touch with running backs coach Dell McGee on a regular basis.

Dawg Post feels the Bulldogs will make Milton’s “top group” later this week, get an official visit from Milton in the fall, and stay firmly in the mix in his recruitment until Signing Day. Other schools in the mix for Milton include Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama, USC, and LSU. Sources told Dawg Post recently that the Buckeyes have had some recent momentum in Milton’s recruitment, but that the Bulldogs are still “definitely” in the mix right now. 

The Bulldogs are looking to land two of the nation’s top running backs and Milton is certainly a top target. Another is four-star Marshawn Lloyd‍. The thick, compact runner out of DeMatha (MD) is another back high on McGee’s wishlist, and the DC standout has been high on the Bulldogs since the very beginning. Sources say the Bulldogs are the possible leader for Lloyd right now, who is ranked as the number-6 running back prospect in the county. 

Other running back targets in 2020 include five-star Zach Evans‍, four-star Seth McGowan‍, four-star Sam Adams‍, and four-star Tank Bigsby‍.
