UGA Coaches Out and Offering Top Recruits
ATHENS - Georgia continued a busy stretch of recruiting during the NCAA’s evaluation period on Tuesday.
Georgia’s coaching staff made its way around the country to see a slew of the top prospects it is after. Here is a quick rundown of the Bulldogs’ travel:
The Bulldogs stopped by to see 2021 Camden County OL Micah Morris. The massive (6-4, 316) lineman is one of the linemen to watch in next year’s recruiting cycle.
Two prospects, 2021 Newton DB Nyland Green and 2022 OL Elijah Zollicoffer got a visit from the Dawgs as well as FSU, Auburn and Clemson. Cortez Hankton was the UGA coach visiting Newton.
UGA special teams coordinator Scott Fountain dropped by Schley County in Ellaville to see Zykeivous Walker, who is a major target for the entire country.
Glenn Schumann stopped by Gatewood School in Eatonton to visit with 3-star OL Weston Wallace (6-5, 340)
UGA TEs coach Todd Hartley was on the coast to see Florida commit and 2022 Brunswick ATH Syveion Ellis. Hartley also dropped by Ware County to see
Meanwhile, Sam Pittman was in the Houston area to visit with 2021 Willowridge WR Latrell Neville. Ohio State and Oklahoma were there as well. Oregon and LSU were by the school Monday.
Keep an eye on 2020 Mallard Creek LB Trenton Simpson, who named the Bulldogs in his top five earlier this month.
Meanwhile, UGA sent out a few new offers on Tuesday.
2021 Miami (FL) LB Patrick Payton tweeted that he has an offer from the Bulldogs. He got the Bulldogs’ offer on the same day he got one from the Canes.
Episcopal (TX) OL Cullen Montgomery got an offer from the Bulldogs on Tuesday as well. The 6-5, 290-pound prospect is a 2021 recruit.
