Thoughts From The Box: 2019 G-Day Scrimmage

ATHENS - The rain finally went away and the sun came out just in time for Georgia’s G-Day scrimmage on Saturday afternoon.

 

Like most spring games, the team didn’t show a ton offensively, which led to big plays for the defense. The game’s most valuable player was arguably cornerback Eric Stokes, who made a fantastic play on the first drive, ripping Fromm’s pass away from Jeremiah Holloman and returning it for a touchdown.
