Another Top 100 Player Commits to UGA, Tom Crean

ATHENS - Christian Brown‍, a consensus Top 100 player in the Class 2019, committed to Georgia on Friday night.

“I’m headed to Georgia, and I’m picking Georgia because it’s close to home and Georgia has always been a second home to me since I was younger,” Brown told Evan Daniels. “Knowing I have good people - it’s relaxing. I just love the environment.”

It is another massive pickup for the Bulldogs and Tom Crean. ESPN considers Brown the No. 60 player in the class. 247 Sports says that Brown is the No. 61 overall player in the class. Rivals considers Brown the No. 61 overall prospect as well.

It is another step for Crean in reshaping the Bulldogs’ roster - moves that the program hopes can lead to UGA fighting for the SEC title and beyond next winter. Georgia now has a consensus top 10 class for the 2019 cycle.
