4-star CB Opens Up Recruitment After Georgia Visit

March 8, 2019

ATLANTA - This past week the Georgia Bulldogs hosted four-star cornerback Darion Green-Warren‍ of Mater Dei (CA). Days after the visit, the 6-foot-0 180-pounder decided to back off his commitment to Oklahoma.

Green-Warren told Dawg Post after his UGA visit that he had an “amazing” experience in Athens.

“Coach (Charlton) Warren is my recruiter and I like him a lot,” Green-Warren said. “He is my kind of guy! I really didn’t know much about UGA except them being a national power but I was blown away!”

The California native has Georgia ties, so the Bulldogs appear to be firmly in the mix in Green-Warren’s recruitment.
