Elite Georgia Showcase Notes: Top Performers
ACWORTH, GA - At Sunday’s Elite GA Showcase, over 500 students piled in on a 30 degree day at North Cobb High School. Hosted by Derrick Tatum of Elite Talent Football, this camp has featured all kinds of future stars such as Trevor Lawrence, Mecole Hardman, Jeremiah Holloman, Owen Pappoe, LaBryan Ray, Tre Lamar, Andrew Thomas, Dominick Blaylock, Trey Dean, Pierce Quick, and many more.
Overall, despite the cold weather, a surprise 8th grade quarterback won the offensive MVP and the lineman were very impressive. Darius Jackson of Cedar Grove (GA) was one of the day’s biggest standouts on the defensive line and was clearly the defensive MVP.
