2020 Defensive Lineman Warren Brinson De-commits From Georgia: What It Means
ATLANTA - The Georgia Bulldogs lost a member of their 2020 class on Tuesday night after four-star defensive lineman Warren Brinson decided to open up his recruitment.
The IMG Academy (FL) prospect committed to Georgia in late November after the Bulldogs beat rival Georgia Tech 45-21.
So what does it mean?
Not a ton, really. While Brinson is a solid four-star lineman, the Bulldogs have made it clear they are going after the nation’s best along the defensive line. His initial commitment was an interesting one as the Bulldogs already had two other defensive linemen on the commit list.
The Bulldogs were on Brinson early in the process, and while he is a Georgia native, opening up his recruitment does not come as a surprise to many who follow Georgia recruiting.
The Bulldogs still have two of the state’s top defensive lineman committed in four-stars Jamil Burroughs and Nazir Stackhouse. The staff continues to sit in a good spot for many other targets including five-star Bryan Bresee, four-star Myles Murphy, four-star Zykeivous Walker, four-star Jacob Cowan, four-star Alex Huntley, four-star Jalen Carter, and four-star Demon Clowney.
