Westlake defeated Collins Hill 60 to 53. Was a good game thanks to our recruit Javyn Nicholson. The first half was dominated by Westlake 32 to 20. Collins Hill isolated Javyn on the free throw line and she went to work that third quarter and brought them back to within 2. Javyn is a very good scorer who can pass. She should do well in Athens. Westlake has talent to spare and they are still very young. Westlake only brought back one starter from last years championship team. In two years they still have not lost to a Georgia Team. I am hoping that UGA can push for a commitment from her. Her buddy Brianna Turnage has improved a lot from last year. She really hurt Collins Hill on the offensive end and did some very good things on defense. She will be a very good player in college as well.

Javyn has improved drastically and carried Collins Hill this season. Her back to the basket game is something I have seen since Hassell was here. She will be superb, but the staff need to be hard on her and push her to be great because the kid has the tools to do so. Her spin moves and footwork are insane in the post.

Javyn seems to be a lot like Caliya. Supremely talented but it's on her to maximize her potential
