We struggled with half court offense a little and with turnovers. Some of it was moving too fast and some of it was Winthrop's defense. I hope to see us improve in the half court as Beckham and Brown get more comfortable running the offense.

Howard was everywhere. She continues to be impressive. Other players had really effective stretches, and the whole team shows a lot of heart and promise.

Well in her presser she did say all they did was condition this summer and no plays. She said they would defend at a high level. They do. But I don't think she got a lot of plays. I think she trying to generate offense through defense.. When they did run plays it's a lot of standing around. For us to get to another level she gonna have to scheme up some easy buckets.

Their offense has a lot more movement in it than our men's team.
