The media poll came out today. We were put 13th, which I think is a little low, but it's not surprising,

They had Alabama at 10, which is a surprise to me with their new coach. Texas A&M was 11th, but Essence Cody is out for the season, which seriously hurts their chances at moving up in the SEC.

I am not sold on Ole Miss, Tennessee, Mississippi State or Florida either. I think it's going to be interesting after the top 6 teams in the league.

Not surprised, pretty much a complete overhaul of the program as far as coaches and roster. It's tough for anyone even the biggest homer UGA fan to not be a little unsure of what we have this year.

But I agree with your assessment on some teams ahead in the prediction, some of those teams in that mid tier are suspect and we could be right there in the mix, imo
