Ladydawgs are starting to look like the team I thought they would be. Coach Abe started Trinity, Dani, Savannah, Mia and Zhen. With that size we matched up better and really caused a lot of problems for Kentucky. We controlled the entire first half and made them play catch up. We just need to match up with our opponents and we will be fine. Dani had 19, Rylie 19, Trinity 14, Mia 11 points 13 rebounds which led the Ladydawgs to an impressive road win in Kentucky. Alabama is next in Athens Thursday night.

Really proud of this team. The turnaround and travel had to be tough, but they found a way to win. It's a quad 1 road win, and we are now 2-3 in quad 1 games.

Next up Alabama at home. We may end up ranked this week, but we can't let it go to our heads. Alabama is a complete team with Cody, and they are a very dangerous team when they shoot it well. We will have to be ready.

The rest of our games could be quad 1 or quad 2, so we have opportunities to improve our tourney resume, but we need Kentucky and Mississippi to play well.

I was a little surprised with Savannah starting over Rylie, but it looks like Coach Abe got Rylie's attention. I didn't get to watch the game but kept up with it on the ESPN app. Seems that Rylie played well overall. Good win and I suspect the Dawgs will be ranked this week. Keep grinding girls!

Savannah started for her height. Kentucky has great inside and tall players. This was a better match up for us. Rylie got out of her shooting mental funk a week before everyone else. I'm certain this is why she didn't start.
