Caejal44, it was a dominant win. They used the entire week I believe to change some things. For the first time this season they were challenging the screener. It was working because they were not getting those uncontested free throw jumpers. Plus the team did an excellent job of boxing out. On offense, we were not taking fast break three point shots. Dani used the screen very well, but what I really liked was she would square up her defender and it the defender back off an inch, she would shoot the three, but if she got to close she would drive by and there was options to score or assist. Alumni day and she got advice from Coach Landers, plus Tamika Catchings commentated the game. Plus Tamika was at the UGA men's game to watch her Nephew Canon Catchings who plays for UGA. I heard that Dani asked her for advice as well. I was glad to see Jocelyn get a couple of minutes at the end. She could really help the team a lot down the stretch.

Good game today. It was great to get off to a fast start. Carnegie and Turner were excellent. I did not expect us to be that dominant without Woolfolk. Hopefully she will be back the next game. The silver lining has been getting Zhen Craft more playing time. I am not a very astute basketball fan, but I liked the way UGA seemed to use their athleticism and speed as an advantage and made the bigger longer Ole Miss run a lot early. I think we got in their gas tank early and often. This is a young team and I believe the future is bright.
