We play again tomorrow at 12:00. ESPN+ Trinity Turner was excellent yesterday.

Great second half today. The young players are getting very valuable experience.

I have some concerns about our defense. We are not hedging out on the jump shooters and Coppin State was hitting them. We are also fouling a lot. I think Coach Abe is starting to see that she needs more height in the lineup at small forward. She played Jocelyn Faison quite a bit today. I thought that was what she was going to do from the beginning. 10 days before we travel to Ole Miss and we are going to need the big players to really play. We should be 14 and 0, but we have not played a top 25 team and we might be in a whole from the beginning. We need to be driving the ball to the basket instead of coming down and one pass and shoot a three. Hopefully Coach Abe is seeing this and pushes the team hard in practice.

It seems like we haven't been as sharp as we were before Thanksgiving. I am guessing the team was really hyped for the games against Tech, FSU, and Kansas, who nearly upset ISU in Aimes yesterday.

I have watched the game against Kansas and the Nichols girl is a dirty player. Every time she drove the ball toward the basket she flings her hand and she at least 4 players in the face and the Refs didn't call any of it. She hit Gonzalez twice and Coach Abe was asking him to go to the monitor and look at it, he warned Coach Abe to stop talking to him about it. I also noticed that every loose ball, Kansas would make sure UGA players would make contact with them and they would fall and they got every call except one. I watched Kansas against Iowa State and they played a clean game. I guess Iowa State knows their tactics because they handled everything.

The flagrant foul in the 2nd quarter of the Kansas game made the officials call everything after in fear of losing control of the game, and I agree that Nichols got away with some dirty play that game.

I was hoping for a KU win against ISU to help our net ranking. I don't think we will see many wins from FSU or Tech this year. I still don't understand what is happening with FSU.

We will see how tough we are against Ole Piss. They play bully ball and we will have to be up for the fight. I have faith in Coach Abe.

I agree about Ole Miss being a bully ball team. After all the SEC is a bully league with South Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma and Ole Miss being the best at it. They are all in the top twelve, but guess who started bully ball and still doing it, Tennessee who we bullied last in Knoxville. We shot the three ball very well, but we drove the ball to the basket and they never had an answer. That is what we need to do more this season and we will find ourselves in the top ten. We have to much talent to be shooting over twenty threes a game. We need to drive and if it isn't there, then kick it to the shooters.
