They had some very good shooters. Their offense had a ton of good movement in it. Lots of cutting to the basket. Our man to man defense got a great test tonight. We did very well. We even played a little zone for a short time. Let's beat the Hell out of Ga Tech on Sunday at 2:00. I'll be there. We won 92 - 46.

We haven't played a tough schedule as of now. Georgia Tech will be the toughest team so far. The scary part is that we could play bad early and never catch up. Then next weekend we get Kansas and we could get blowed out because of the weak schedule. Some times it is better to play a tough schedule early and lose a couple of games, it will get your team ready for the SEC. Now I am scared that this weak early schedule will cause us to play catch up in the SEC. You can get knocked out of the race before mid January. Our RPI has got to be in the 300 right now. We will see were we are after Tech Sunday.

We are now under the Walter Nolan Strength of Schedule. We have the 23rd toughest schedule in the country. Unfortunately, our non-conference Strength of Schedule is 232nd in the country. We will probably not be ready for our first few top games in the SEC. Last season it took us a while to adjust to the SEC. You always need to mix your schedule up early. Kansas and Butler are on our schedule next weekend and we will play both lest than 24 hours. That will be interesting because Kansas has played a much tougher schedule than UGA. I haven't checked out Butler yet. Georgia Tech will give us a better test than we have had so far.

The schedule does bump up in difficulty quickly with Tech, Butler, Kansas, and Florida State, and it's an important stretch for us.

Crme projects us as the first team out and has FSU as the next four out and Kansas as the last four bye, so basically, he projects us all at the same level. We could really boost our resume over the next two weeks and help ourselves out if we do end up on the bubble.

Honestly, Tech had to piece a new team together quickly with a new head coach. They played Princeton tough, but they lost to Jacksonville at home. They have length which could disrupt us, but it feels like we should win this game. Same with Butler.

FSU on the road scares me, but they are a streaky shooting team. Kansas has already proven themselves to be capable of winning against other P4 teams (Missouri and Minnesota) and look like a tournament team, but they have several young pieces.

0-4 uh oh…we got a problem
1-3 not good
2-2 we can recover
3-1 we're still solid
4-0 very excited

I have to remind myself that this team is still very young and learning how to play together. Decision making from our guards could decide how we handle this stretch.

Caejal44, I could not have stated our next four games any better. I will add to it by the way of our players. We need for Jocelyn Faison to start hitting the mid range jump shot. It is kind of funny, I watched Jocelyn all last year and she really is a very good jump shooter. She just needs to hit jump shot and I think she will become an even more contributor to the team. She is long and athletic with very very good skills. She and Zhen gives our team defense, length, speed and athleticism that we haven't had in a while. And if we get Aubrey Beckham healthy this year, those three pieces will really benefit us down the stretch. If we play good defense without fouling, I think we can do great things this year. Like you said Caejal44, let's take Tech to the cleaners.
