I am a day late with the thoughts of the game. The Ladydawgs looked very good at times and struggled with some situations.
On offense we had our scorers in position that they like. Rylie led the way with 19, Dani had 17, Trinity 12, Mia 11, Vera 7, Zhen 6, Aicha 4 and Jocelyn 2. We got banged around a lot and we let it affected us some what.
We were good on defense, but we have to get to the three point shooters quicker. Coach Abe is trying to get that substitution rotation which will be the biggest key to the season.

And our freshman post led the team with 5 assists for the game. Craft continues to shine.

I watched the majority of games that Zhen played last season. Everything that we are seeing from Zhen is showing up in our games. She is a total team player. Most freshmen have to score all the time to get on the floor. Zhen gives team play all the time. Another player who will be instrumental before the SEC is Jocelyn Faison. We definitely have two players who do what the team needs. Aubrey Beckham would be in the conversation sometime after she is fully healthy. Coach Abe and staff identified the type players that fits her system. Meghan Yarnevich was another who fitted her system. I don't think she will be happy at LSU. It wouldn't shock me to see her in the transfer portal come spring.
