The Ladydawgs had practice today and I can see this Team being one of the best defensive teams in the country. But don't sleep on the offense, because Mia Woolfolk is one of the best post players in the country also. She is the best post player at UGA since Tasha Humphrey. We are 42 days from our first game I want to see UGA get off to a great start.

The Ladydawgs practiced this morning and they were visited by former Ladydawgs Stephanie Paul and Mya Caldwell.

The highlights that I saw from today's practice has me very excited. Enjulina Gonzalez looks real good off the bounce and Vera Ojenuwa will definitely add more outstanding post play to our team. 33 more days and we can see this Team start their journey.

We should be a very difficult team to stop off the bounce. Very excited for the season to begin.

The Ladydawgs are 28 days away from the first game. I was looking at the players scoring from last season and it is interesting. Enjulina Gonzalez average 17.5 last season at Miami of Ohio. I saw a couple of her highlights and she is definitely a scorer. I think Miami of Ohio is the Ohio Valley Conference which usually plays pretty good. She will be a big asset for Coach Abe. She must learn to use her post players in the SEC. Danielle Carnegie averaged 12.9 while being injured in some games. In the big games Dani shined the brightest. She scored in the twenties against UGA, she scored around 30 at North Carolina and upper twenties against Va Tech. We know Trinity is a threat every night. Mia is one of the top 5 post players in the SEC, especially if she can play without fouling. Rylie Theurakauf led Wake Forrest in scoring, Vera Ojenuwa averaged 7 points at Arkansas and she was not a first option. Miyah Verse improved all season long and will definitely be a plus for us. We will work the others in as the season goes. I know with Zhen and Jocelyn they will be used as freshman more in the defensive system and will grow more into offensive weapons. We have the make up of a very good team.

Yesterday the Ladydawgs practiced and I have been noticing that none of the players are wearing knee braces. That is great news to know that Mia, Savannah and Aubrey are at full speed. Mia, Savannah and Dani will travel to Birmingham for SEC Media Days next Tuesday. After Wednesday we will have 26 days before the first game.

The Ladydawgs invited what looked like some of the long time Boosters, the Bulldog Club. Coach Abe is showing the progress of the team which should be very very good. 25 days to go before Alabama State comes to Athens.
