Kayla McPherson has retired from basketball. Kayla finished behind Raven Johnson as the number two ranked player in Georgia and she was special. Kayla has had six operations at North Carolina and I think she played one and a half years out of four. We recruited Kayla as well as Raven and we didn't land her. I just want to wish Kayla well.

I knew she had a rough time with injuries. That's sad, but she probably did the best thing for her long term health.
