Ce Ce Dennis the class 4A state player of the year who led Creekside to the State Championship has been offered by Coach Abe and staff. Ce Ce is a 5'8" guard who I really impressed with. She is going to score on anyone that tries to guard her. She is just a sophomore and they defeated the defending state champions Marist with Kate Harpring. I will be watching to see where she will stand with the rest of the class of 2027 when all the players rankings come out. Ce Ce definitely should end up in the top twenty.

Cece Dennis is a 5'6" point guard who led her team Creekside to an undefeated season. Cece and her family visited UGA over the weekend. Cece and Creekside defeated Kate Harpring and Marist in the semifinals on their way to the State Championship. Cece was super all season. She is ranked number 41 in the 2027 class and she will definitely finish in the top five of Georgia. She has already been offered by Coach Abe and staff.

Cece has moved up to number one in the state of Georgia during the summer league. I was definitely impressed with her during the state Championships. She matched Kate Harprings production during the semi finals and she was the MVP of the state Championships. I was happy to see Coach Abe and staff on her early by getting her to visit with her family. Two more years of high school could definitely be a benefit for UGA. Trinity will have one more season and Aubrey Beckham would have two which would mean she could play a lot as a freshman. Coach Abe is definitely getting stronger in state recruiting.

Did Kate Harpring ever pick a school?

Kate has not picked a school yet. In fact, she hasn't narrowed her list as of yet. I am not trying to start something, but when we got Danielle Carnegie this spring, Kate became less of a priority especially with the addition of Rylie Theurakauf. That position is strong for the next three years. You have Trinity Turner, Aubrey Beckham and Enjulina Gonzalez at the point guard plus you can add Jocelyn Faison who can play three positions and Zhen Craft who also can play three positions.
When we added Danielle Carnegie to our team we got the best player out of Georgia in 2023. I don't like to compare players, but Danielle was the most underrated player in the nation her senior year. There haven't been many players in the history of the state of Georgia who have led their team to an undefeated season in the highest classification to not be a McDonald's All American. In fact, I can't name one. That was one of the reasons I wanted Danielle at UGA out of high school. Coach Abe only had a few months to recruit her and that is hard. You need at least a couple years to get to know a player and it costs us all of the top players Coach Abe first year. Now she is more known around the state and things are changing.
Now don't get me wrong, I would love to see Kate Harpring in a UGA uniform next year, but is Kate willing to share playing time is the big question.

Thanks for the info. I'm just waiting for her to sign with a school before I share what she told her teammates about what she wanted in a college. It's something no one should ever be concerned about.
