As we look to the future, if we can avoid the transfer bug and continue to develop, we could become a force. I would like to see us pick up an experienced point guard if we can, or if we do go younger, a shooter or prolific scorer.

I saw that Auburn let go their coach, and they have two special guards on their team. I would take either or both if they decide to transfer, lol.

I would say next season is tourney or bust for Coach Abe. She needs an extension if she wants to be able to recruit at a high level.

I would not say next year is tourney or bust because we have seen strange things in tourney selection. Coach Abe just needs to make her team better early and pray for good health. Just think about the Bulldog football team the year before last. We lose a game that missed a call before half that would have changed the second half and they voted us out of the playoffs. So let's not say tourney or bust. We need to win more than losses and improve in the SEC. Two years from now, I look to see UGA in the top four. Coach Abe is doing it the right way with recruiting. I think we are getting the best players who are not about just NIL. I have a great feeling about Bella Ragone and Finley Parker. I think we have a fifty fifty chance at Kate Harpring. Coach Abe has us on the verge of elite basketball again. Let's not push her out the door.

Totally agree. She needs a minimum of two more years. I think we have some real NIL money moving forward. It should be fun and exciting.

Originally, I thought she had signed a five year contract, but I was wrong. It's a six year contract, so she may get two more for tourney or bust, but I don't see another losing season helping her keep the job.

Unless the transfer portal skews in favor of the SEC, I don't see the conference being as strong next season. This season was crazy in terms of depth of quality teams with seniors and grad students leading the way, so I can see us making the jump into the tourney next season, as long as we don't get hit hard by transfers.

Guys, be patient, she has had to totally rebuild. She is selling her vision to top players. Coach Abe has done it at 2 other schools. You have to have top players and she is bringing them in. Trinity Turner, Mia Woolfolk, the Davis Twins, Zhen Craft, Jocelyn Faison, Meghan Yarnevich, Aubrey Beckham and Harissoum Coulibaly are the start. She has the attention of Bella Ragone, Kate Harpring, Finley Parker and Gabby Minus. Bella Ragone is an All American this year, Finley Parker is on the All American sophomore team and Kate is an All American this year. Believe me when I say this, nobody hates losing more than me. You have to have great players to win at anything. The foundation is set and we just need to back Coach Abe. I don't know how old is everyone posting are but Vince Dooley had his only losing season in 79 and nobody panic because he just a great recruiting class like Coach Abe and the next year he went 12 and 0. Let's get rid of the negative talk and start thinking about the upcoming class. If Coach Abe gets Bella and Kate, would you fire her if goes 19 and 13 next year because Bella and Kate would probably rescind their letters of intent. We have seen what Coach Abe can do with players. She gave 3 of the final four teams all they wanted 2022. Oh and by the way, Mike White the Men's Basketball Coach, had 2 losing seasons and look were recruiting has him. He is already in the tournament says Joe Lunardi. This upcoming season will be the third year that Coach Abe has developed recruiting relationships. I know this is her fourth season, but Joni left after the recruiting season, so this in actuality is her third recruiting season. I have faith, I would hope that you all will find faith.
