Trinity Turner with the buzzer beater for UGA. The Ladies didn't give up after trailing the entire second half. Demauri hit a three with 7.2 seconds and the Mizzou player got confused thinking UGA would foul and UGA tired her up for a jump ball. Avinger dribbled to the free throw line and kicked it to Turner for a three on the buzzer. Great win for the Ladies. Flournoy and Turner led the Ladydawgs in scoring.

Great win! We need to keep playing hard and try to avoid those lapses in scoring.

Agree. That 2nd quarter was terrible. Great win.

When that last shot went in I screamed very loudly with great joy. Excellent coaching job down the stretch near the end. I'm so proud of this young team. I'm sure you heard one of our backup inside players broke, I think it was a hand, in practice this week? We can't catch a break.

Shoutout to Coach Tahnee Balerio for drawing up the final three plays that resulted in the victory over Missouri. Coach Tahnee drew up the play to get the shot for Demauri Flournoy to cut the lead to one point. Then she drawed up the defensive play to trap and get the jump ball and the last second shot for Trinity Turner if we got the ball which we did. She is an outstanding strategist. Great job Coach Tahnee.

I forgot to mention that Jasmine James was in Athens as assistant coach for Mizzou, Anne Marie Armstrong was the color analyst and Coach Landers was in the stands. Always great to have Ladydawgs royalty in the house.
