Aubrey Beckham Hebron Christian continues as Georgia number one and National number 4. They are 13 and 1 with the lone lost coming from a rematch with Jocelyn Faison and Langston Hughes in which Jocelyn was outstanding. Langston Hughes is number 2 in the state with a 12 and 1 record. Langston Hughes has beaten Hebron, Holy Innocent with Hailee Swain which is number 5 and North Pauling who was 13 and 0. Jocelyn stock continues to rise as she will finish as one or two in the state.
Zhen Craft and her Bishop McNamara team are dominating the state of Maryland as usual. They are 4 and 1 against the top 25 nationally with a 5 point loss to Matei Dei from California. Zhen is an outstanding defensive player with the wing span of a player around 6'7". A phenomenal athlete who is going to really fit well with Coach Abe and staff. Meghan Yarnevich and the Bullis School are 6 and 4 with one of the losses coming to Bishop McNamara. Meghan is a very good player, she has three point range for a center or forward and she has a very good all around game. She will play a lot as a freshman.
Harissoum Coulibaly is a very good scorer and will also see early playing time. She knows how to get to the rim and her size as a guard will help on both ends of the court.
The last player is Aubrey Beckham who just needs to get her knee right. Aubrey is an all around player who is an excellent defender. Her offensive game had improved tremendously and she can play both guard position. Can't wait to see these young ladies in the Red and Black.
