Terrible news folks, Aubrey tore her ACL last Tuesday. It might have been playing Flag Football. I am not sure, but I will keep searching to find out.

Prayers for Aubrey, hoping she can make a full recovery. Her offensive game had really improved a lot. She was already a top defensive player. She should be great in Coach Abes system.

Tearing your acl is never good but the timing in this situation is not bad if you look at it. Now she has a good time-line to get a full recovery before her freshman season and be ready.

This hurts us when you look at next years roster. We are losing Avinger and Flournoy which leaves Trinity Turner as the only true point guard. Harissoum Coulibaly will be a combo guard but that slows your offense down. I would think Coach Abe will look at the transfer portal to get an experienced point guard for a graduate year. Unless there is an underrated guard who hasn't signed scholarship. Aubrey is a big point guard who can play the off guard as well. It normally takes a couple of years to get back up to speed. I just want her to get healthy and not rush back and get injured any worse.

Finally I saw Aubrey Beckham interview this summer. Aubrey made the statement that her first wish is to start playing again. She didn't say when, but I noticed that she had a limp with her left leg. I am starting to wonder will she play this year. I pray that it is not career ending. That definitely explains why Coach Abe went and signed Enjulina Gonzalez to back up Trinity. I think that Coach Abe will wait and see how Aubrey health is after the season on whether to sign 2 point guards in 2027 or not. Prayers for you Aubrey Beckham.
