I am kind of surprised at their start this year. They are 3-4. Even with the transfers out, they still have some talent.
I used to lurk on the A&M board, but after the second loss, some of the posters turned their criticisms of Coach Taylor into personal attacks against her work ethic, criticized her for coaching in the Olympics, etc. I'm now afraid to even read their posts. The majority want her gone after this season, and I could see that happening, unfortunately.
I was sad to see her leave, and I hoped for her to be successful in her new role, but my-oh-my she was setup extremely well if she had stayed at UGA. If nobody transferred, she could have had three/four all conference players. Nicholson, Richardson, and S.A. Barker all achieved all conference last year. J. Barker should be all conference. Who knows if they would've become that under Taylor though.
I hope they turn it around. I think Coach Lange, who is now at Duke, was a key piece of Coach Taylor's success at UGA. It's just interesting how we seem to be more patient with our new coach while Texas A&M is ready for change, probably because of how highly paid Coach Taylor is and they haven't had much success with high school recruiting, which is really odd to me.
