We really looked bad today. The second half Penn State put the full court pressure on our guards and it was the biggest difference in the game. Our forwards missed a bunch of layups and close shots that didn't help. This season will be disaster if we can't get some inside help. We were able to stay with Penn State in the first half because of the guards and it was 25 all at halftime. But the second half the guards penetrated and dished to the forwards and they scored only a couple of baskets. This is starting to look like a long season.

It's going to be a long season. But we all need to be patient. We are extremely young and key players are injured and not playing. We have another good signing class coming. Enjoy watching these young girls develop. Our coach is excellent and really knows what she is doing.

After watching most of that game I had to take a day away.....

This season is definitely a learning lessons for the young players. I look forward to seeing how this team plays at the end of the season.

Could not agree more about Coach Abe and her coaches. I love the fact they have been together for a long time. She knows how to develop players. We are seeing that already.

They do run my pressure up with the same turnovers. Freshmen get a pass but the rest do not. The ball is not a hot potato. The traveling have me rolling my eyes. Missing both free throws does the same.

Penn State did not show us anything we did not see on tape. When a team press you make them pay for the press. ATTACK! We could not finish at the rim and once again did not shoot well. Tech hit the three. PSU hit the three. They both hit more than we did.

Verse needs a mid range jump shot. I am surprise she does not have one yet.

Turner can flat out hoop. She just needs to know when and when not to shoot. That will come in time.

Once again Evans have to react faster. Game time experience is helping Fatima. She is still not compatible with the ball for an extended period of time.

I did like the fight because that one PSU player plays dirty. There is only so much a player is going to take on the court. Do not take kindness for weakness.

Nice to see Savannah on the bench. The ex Kentucky player was dress so hopefully she is close to returning.

I agree with what both of you said. This is a learning year for the simple fact we will lose Avinger, Flournoy, Makola and possibly Leveretter. It is very important for the Freshmen to play a lot for next year. We have 5 very good recruits coming in next year and we should be looking to get back into the tournament. I think that if this team can get Woolfolk, Henderson and Leveretter on the floor healthy before SEC play, we can have a winning season which would be a great stepping stone for next year.
