The Announcers called it an upset. With Mia Woolfolk injured and Savannah Henderson out for undisclosed reasons we are dependent on our 3 guards. I still want to see Coach Abe play the twins so that they get game experience for next year. Savannah was in the stands behind the bench and I hope it is the flu and Coach Abe doesn't want her to spread it to the team. And I don't know what is going on with Nyah Leveretter.

We could not ring the basket. And GA State hit a bunch of three pointers. :-(

I watched the game and this is a good lost for them because if they do not hit shots and cut down on the turnovers, there will be many more loses.

I felt Coach Abe should have went to the matchup zone sooner on them. They were playing the matchup zone on us very well. They made most of their open shots and we did not. Our shot selection was horrible. Dribble with a purpose or move and pass the ball.

Freshmen get a pass. At times they look like a deer in headlights.

Happy for Fatima getting in there and gaining the experience.

IF another big bring the ball down on another rebound, I am going to change the channel. Evans is going to have to recognize and react faster. Fatima needs to pay attention to five seconds rule. Its really no longer three seconds. Verse needs to work on her free throws. Its just like high school just a bigger arena.

Lets see how we response against TECH.

All that you said Dawgs30008 is true. This would be a very competitive team if we could get healthy. Mia Woolfolk would make the SEC all freshman team on 2 healthy legs. I saw her in the Virginia state championship game and she is very good. I think she had 18 points in the opening game. She gives us that post player that makes you double team her. Nyah is a lot quicker on guarding in the post out to the 3 point line. And a healthy Savannah at 6'3" can shoot the three ball and she is a defensive presence with her height. Those are 3 pieces that we need to be playing and UGA will be different.
