The new season starts Monday, and for the first time in a long time, I don't know what to expect from this team.

We have two known commodities, and everybody else is either new or was a reserve/injured on previous teams. Luckily, our two known commodities are in the backcourt, which should help us in some games.

Anybody want to guess a starting five?

I think Coach Abe has a couple more seasons before she could be on the hot seat if this season turns out like last season, but I think we need to an overall winning record before the seat starts feeling warm.

I thought Savannah would be starting. I'm hoping Fatima has developed more over the off season- I think there is potential there- she may be too nice and you have to be aggressive in the SEC.

Coach Abe has 2 solid classes now-I agree with you this must be a better season and a winning %. Like you, I'm not sure what to expect - it's a new team and not sure where the offense will come from.

Savannah based on her height could be a matchup nightmare for opposing teams.

Fatima is the wild card. She looks in excellent shape and I expect her to make her presence known in the middle.

I am looking forward to seeing the freshmen play.

This team will definitely shoot better.

I think by the end of the season they will be better defensively.

The big mystery is going to be who starts at the 4 and 5. We will find out on Monday. I do believe that Savannah may start and/or play the 4 this year.

Diakhate could make a big step this year.
