UConn spent $7.85M on women's basketball from 1 July 2018 - 30 June 2019. During this period they generated $4.50M in revenue. Thus a net loss of $3.35M. This after a "down" season where they earned a 35-3 record (16-0 in conference games) and made it to the Final Four for their twelfth consecutive season.
