Probably an unpopular opinion but mommas boy is very much overrated
They made the best homemade corned beef hash I've ever eaten and then took it off the menu. My favorite breakfast joint in Athens.
They have two locations too. I dont think its closed permanently.

As a rule, I dont wait for breakfast or mexican. Too many other places with same product quality...lol
I'm with you on it being overrated - the bride loves it and I settle for the biscuits and gravy or pancakes. It's just so underwhelming
Yeah, went there once. A Sunday morning after a home game isn't the best time. Food was very good and would like to eat there again, but there are plenty of equal options without the hour wait.
It better be elite for me to wait. Very few places that I'm willing to wait for.
Ate at the one on Macon Highway Thursday. Good meal, but wish they had real Hash Browns.

That's not common.
We can cook pretty well here at home. Seafood is much more challenging, but Athens isn't known for that anyway.
Elite ain't common. We eat a lot on the dawg post road trips, as you can tell, and usually places are average. BBQ joins specifically are typically overrated

The new place Tamez BBQ on broad is really excellent.
White Diamond in Bonaire has great mustard BBQ. I'm sure you'd like it.Dean Legge said:
