The Vietnam war was one of the best-done works on tv.

An amazing Portrait of that time.

I mean. I can not imagine the amount of work that went into that. His work is critically important

I won't repeat anything but will add:

Cobra Kai - if you are at all a fan of the 1980's Karate Kid movies, this series is very good and nostalgic to boot (it used to be on YouTube but is now on Netflix). Season 3 starts this year sometime.

Man I watched that documentary and some of the stuff NASA officials hid or try to hide before and after the disaster was unbelievable. I'm surprised the victims families didn't sue the pants off of NASA and government for that debacle.

I was in the 6th grade when that happened. I don't recall if it was mentioned while i was school at the time. I know for certain we didnt watch it on TV like some schools. I remember going home and my mom was glued to TV and she told me what was going on.

I loved the Karate Kid movies growing up and the nostalgia of Cobra Kai is good but man the acting is horrible. I think Johnny and Daniel did so much better when they were kids.

The Wire and Sopranos are on Amazon Prime, not Netflix.

But to your point, yes, The Wire is a top-5 TV show of all-time imo. I would rank it right up there w/ Breaking Bad (63 episodes), Chernobyl (only 5 episodes), and The Vietnam War (10-part documentary by Ken Burns) as excellent riveting television.

Some other TV shows I enjoyed but didn't mention as they weren't on Netflix: 11/22/63, Band of Brothers, Deadwood, Downton Abbey, Fargo (S1,S2), Homeland (S1,S2,S3), Justified, and True Detective (S1).

Some programs I haven't seen, but want to as I've heard good things about them: Game of Thrones and Yellowstone.

No. It originally aired on HBO from 2004-'06. However, I watched it for free last year and this spring on Amazon Prime. Since then it's moved back to HBO (you can binge via a free 7-day trial) or buy and stream the seasons on Amazon Prime.

Fwiw, Deadwood was one TV program I thought should have continued past season three. After 13 years HBO decided to wrap things up w/ a Deadwood movie.

Yep. Money Heist on Netflix is one of the best shows I've ever seen. Give it 3-4 episodes. Because it's spectacular.
