None is your answer. This all completely ignores science and it's the fault of spineless administrators trying to cover their own butts and a media who weirdly hates sports that wants to see them canceled. College students have a far far greater chance of being killed in a car crash on the way to moving into campus than being killed by the virus. If anyone asked them athletes 80% of them would be chomping at the hit to get out there and compete. But we aren't doing that because all administrators care about is covering their own butt. Me personally, I look at real live facts, which the media seems intent on not reporting

Science says you dont put a bunch of people without masks in close proximity breathing all over each other for prolonged periods of time. That science?

Also, overweight men are some of the hardest hit. The OL/DL are very high risk.

Anytime someone starts a sentence with "the media" it really makes you wonder of the validity and sanity. Why would "the media" want football cancelled? "The Media" owns the rights to telecast football. You think ABC News will draw the ads of ESPN? "The media" is a business, no doubt but they need sports for the mothership.

It is the administrations jobs to protect the student athlete, not make sure some armchair QB gets his football.

Real live facts? LOL.

If some of you had lived during WWII, the Germans would have won. "Freedom" has a price. You think people in the late 40's wanted a military draft? Wanted things rationed? Nope.

Thats why they are the greatest generation. Today, we have a bunch of narcissistic softies whining about having to wear a mask. The horror! I expect it from the youth, but grown a** men? Good grief.

Its just gotten so far off topic from football that I move it. That's all.

Understand. This whole subject creates strong viewpoints on both sides. The problem is that it's now affecting college football and any sports professional and amateur.

I will say we were the hotspot per capita behind Italy and NYC several months ago. Local Hospital CEO said today that there has been an uptick in July, but where hospitalizations were lasting 9-10 days, now they are seeing 4-5 days due to younger population contracting virus and recovering quicker. The older or more susceptible people are staying home.

We're seeing many more patients at my place. But the severity is way down and more are recovering at home. This is minuscule and anecdotal evidence, however. I cover a couple of small SE GA hospitals. But the other places nearby are seeing the same. So far, it's not like it was in early May. I spent more than a few hours a night in ICUs for 2 weeks back then.
I'm cautiously feeling somewhat better about the future.
Still, wear your damn masks, though.
