I have my reservations about our PG play. I think Smurf is honestly a true Scoring PG who is being forced to run the offense. Not that he cannot do it, I just think his first motive is to score/shoot, then playmake. He is a good enough of a scorer and his playmaking ability is just enough where he can truly run the offense smoothly.
However to your point there is no PG after that. I think however between Blue (more of a true wing) and Dillione (Combo G/Wing) there should be enough ball handling there to handle the responsibilities.
Kemo is unknown purely because it is so hard to predict how a player will make the jump from D2 to SEC basketball. If we recall a few years ago, I think back to RJ Sunahara. The kid who played at that D2 powerhouse Nova Southeastern and was the D2 N.P.O.Y, absolute baller there. Then he transfers to UGA and is almost a non-factor.
I think maybe Donovan Williams Jr. could step up, but that is a lot of pressure of a freshman and on top of that I believe he is projected more as a combo guard than true PG.
There are a lot of questions about this team. I think the floor is high enough for them to get into the tournament but I think it could be really volatile. This will have to be CMW best coaching job. Good returners, weaker portal class (which he normally is known for), and weak incoming freshman. Definitely excited but nervous for next season.
