I heard a couple things via a pretty good source:

• Only 8 of about 50 speakers were working last season
• The huge video board is not just on hold: it was determined that Stegeman was not structurally capable of holding such a screen on that wall

Will they redesign/shrink the video board and try anyway? Unclear. But it sounds like it won't be as big as initially thought.
