Acaden Lewis - Miami. Mike White lost that battle to Miami, then claims he walked away on top. Wrong we got stuffed in a locker.

Smurf millender - Commits tomorrow at 4pm.

Jordan Ross - 50/50 he commits in the foreseeable future.

Everything changes so fast. Hate this new landscape of CBB.

Damn, how do we let Miami out bid us? The administration has to support the Georgia Bulldogs hoops program much more competitively in my humble opinion.

Agreed. We have to be more aggressive and willing to understand we have to open the check book. The current landscape of CBB does not allow for passive spending and trying to cut corners getting the best deals.

Also mike white has no patience. Seems to be turned off by recruits taking their time to decide if they want to commit or not. I like the idea of a no nonsense tough nose coach, but this only works if you have the resume to back it up, which he currently really does not.

New information I have been relayed. Apparently Acaden had silently committed to UGA like I had been told, and why I was so confident he would commit, but then scheduled his visit to Miami without telling anyone. Coaches tried to reach out and he went ghost.

Even though he was going to commit to UGA, it got leaked that no matter what happened he was going to transfer from UGA after this season and that along with him going ghost on us turned off the staff.

Smurf Millender, who everyone thinks will commit today, is in Athens for his visit and was going to leave yesterday but stayed the night, making it seem like that is why we are 100% confident he commits.

Former UGA Guard Noah Thomasson, who is from Houston and playing overseas, helped us recruit Smurf as he is also from Houston and is a huge reason for the commit, so DGD I love Noah for that.

After Smurf our next focus should be Jordyn Ross and I think the roster will be close to complete.

We 100% knew Lewis was going to Miami for a visit. There are other things that led us to move along. We didn't lose him for $. We lost him by choice.

Not a huge surprise. From that area and they were in a good place with him to start off. However, it is interesting in this day and age to go on 3 visits all in a row essentially and stay for a while at each, and walk away with no commitment to any of those schools except for your first visit.

I am not hear to speak down on his mother and all the baggage she has with her, but the reports in his recruitment have been all over the place. Believe I read somewhere that he was going to avoid going to school in the NorthEast near his home? Also heard his mom really liked Miami for him?

I know we cut him off and I am curious if St Johns and Miami also did the same with all the antics he was pulling. I mean there was a time where he was considered a UGA lock.
