I'm not sure saying people lost faith is totally fair. Some probably did, but for me at least, it was not a loss of faith. It was frustration watching the team (in my opinion) underachieve.
The adjustments that Mike White made during the bye week (discussed elsewhere) were huge, and they have paid big dividends. The margins, though, remain razor thin.
In our last three, we've built a 26-point lead on a top 5 team (great!), blown a 26-point lead (bad!), smoked a Texas team without Tramon Mark on the road (nice!) and snuck past the worst team in the SEC in their building (a tough win!). I've enjoyed every bit of it.
If the Auburn game in Stegeman breaks our way, and if we hold leads against Texas A&M, Mizzouri, and Arkansas, we're no worse than a 5-seed at this point.
If Blue doesn't hit that three against Florida, we're still at least a win away from being in the tournament at all.
It's been a crazy season featuring a brutal stretch of games in an all-time-great conference for a fan base that has experienced almost nothing but heartbreak for 20+ years. I think the roller-coaster of emotions can be forgiven.

you must have missed the part of the season when we were losing just about every night

Didn't miss it at all! You all definitely gave up on white and the team! No one is jinxing anything, this team is peaking at the right time! I've believed in them from the very beginning and will believe in them until the very last game!! But guess what if all the if's were fifths , you all know the rest!! Go Dawgs and where is Monk?
