Up 1 at halftime, the Dawgs proceeded to give away any momentum when UTk came out in an aggressive press. TO after TO resulted - 6 in the first 7 minutes of the half. UTk scored 26 of the first 30 pts scored in the half. You could see what was coming just a few possessions into the 2nd half. We have not handled the press well at all. White has to find a way to beat the press and protect the basketball. With our size, you would think we would throw over the press or station a big man in the middle of the court as an outlet who can then get it back to the guards. Very frustrating night. Also, we did not do a good job keeping them off the offensive glass; they killed us with 2nd chance points and put up more than we did as a result....
