to more "old school" basketball, which I would call more fundamental basketball. Yeah, we shoot 3s (probably too many), but we do our damage mostly in the post. Scored 42 IIRC correctly on GC in the paint. That is a more high percentage shot. Sure, a 3 pointer is worth more, but it's worth nothing if you don't make it. Keep banging it inside where our bigs can do damage. Keep taking the ball to the hoop. Be selective when we shoot 3s. That's good basketball....

If the light has come on for Syril we are going to be a huge problem for teams in the paint on both ends.

The more I watch him, the less expectation I have for him being on the Georgia roster next yr.

I was actually gonna say that. I'm not sure I want him to improve so fast, or we will lose him to the NBA. LOL He's still got some rough edges to his game, but some NBA team will fall in love with his athleticism and think they can teach him everything else. The NBA no longer really focuses on post play like it did in the past. They generally want guys with perimeter games, which is not Somto. But, still....Teddybulldawg said:

For him and Asa I suspect it's going to take at least that in NIL to have any chance of seeing either in a UGA uniform Fall of 25
