Winning 102-56, shooting 66.7% from the field and 58% from 3, 76% on FTs and outrebounding Jacksonville by 10. I understand they took 2 points away from Jacksonville on a completely bogus goaltending call, too. My only complaint was the 12 TOs. But wow, that's about as good as we can play. Most won't shoot 66.7% against air. Everybody was sinking 3s, even Abson. Dylan James was knocking'em down. Leffew was hot, too. They hit 4 apiece, while Demary and Lawrence got 2 each. Cyril almost broke the goal a couple of times on dunks. (Take it easy big fella; don't be trying to dribble up the court. LOL) The Dawgs really worked the ball well and got open shots. That was a fun game! And defensively, the Dawgs held the Dolphins to just 35% from the field and 28% from 3. Before people start knocking this win or the opponent, keep in mind the Dolphins recently beat Va Tech. They are coached by a former White assistant who would know all of White's schemes. Didn't matter tonight.... Amazing score considering we didn't score from the field until 4 minutes into the game.

I watched the game again. We handled their MTM, zone and press very well. My only complaints were that we did not attack after we broke their press, perhaps understandable because of the way our half court offense was clicking. And we had about 20 seconds to get a good shot at the end of the first half, but turned it over and got no shot. We have to execute these situations better. Also, we were a bit loose at times with our passes, leading to unnecessary TOs. Oh, and the walking call against Savo was incorrect.
