Embarrassing. . How does a school like UGA allow such continued historical underachievement….

We have been historically, catastrophically awful in basketball. Oh, what might have been.... Tried to hire John Wooden way back in the day. Later hired Babe McCarthy, but he left before he ever coached us for the ABA. Had Jim Harrick, who had us on a good path and failed to support him in the face of petty accusations. We have had soooo many chances to get it right and failed woefully. We have allowed so many great players to leave the state because we didn't take basketball seriously....

Nothing beyond what I myself witnessed a couple of weeks ago. I can't imagine anything negative coming out of practice from this group. These guys just have to get to know each other, learn to play together and develop chemistry. That takes time.

Yeah, not putting any stock in that opinion. No one has seen anyone play yet. A couple of years ago, UNC was the preseason #1, and they didn't even make the tournament IIRC.
