The hilarious thing is they are turning college athletics essentially into the NFL and NbA and forcing academia - the one entity wholly incapable unable and ill equipped - to run an NFL and NBA "franchise" and all the **** show that it involves.

I agree. The players will become employees of the university, subject to withholding tax and workers' comp, for example. Now, players really should unionize. College sports will forever change.
