Let's hope we don't lose him to his alma mater. I gotta think he stays in Athens. IMO our program is closer to relevancy than is Ole Miss. But coaching in today's world ain't easy anywhere.

That's literally the million dollar question - what makes any HC job attractive anymore is not as obvious or transparent as salary, tradition, school name.

I mean NIL capability has to be if not top consideration in the top two or three. And NIL juice can happen anywhere. All it takes is a donor or two - or a school being all in.

We could lose White anywhere. But we could also be a destination if the NIL commitment is there.

We may find out either way here shortly.

I had heard that Beard might be moving on, but didn't know the specifics behind it. I thought it was odd considering he just signed a contract extension, albeit for only a year because Mississippi has a law a contract cannot be longer than 4 years (for state employees, I think).

If Beard wants to leave Ole Miss, we should try and get him. White can go to Ole Miss that way. Arkansas can hire Tang.
