Seton Hall didn't have to do anything special last night to secure the win. We immediately got behind and just never did anything to threaten them. I knew early on it would not be our night. We were turning the ball over, and the outside shots weren't falling. Frank turned it over on our first possession on a simple pass back to a guard that was deflected. Why we repeatedly put posts at the top of the key expecting them to make a play is beyond me. Fox did it all the time, too. Drives me nuts.

Well, season's over. We can focus on rebuilding the roster.

My hope is our roster is fairly static from a returnee standpoint. I fear we're gonna get another roster fruit basket turnover. The Demery comments were less than definitive. And did I read the Ole Miss HC is open????
I think we will lose several players to the portal, some by their choice and some by the staffs'. Just can't afford scholarship players who don't contribute. I suspect Demery will try to figure out what NIL deals are out there, but I hope we can keep him. I doubt if Moncrieffe or Jordan are back. I doubt if the staff remains intact myself. I hope Deloach and Melendez stay; they have promise. Frank is more than willing to come off the bench, but he's not very productive. White needs to hit the portal hard....Nostradawgus said:

I saw that Meechie Johnson is going back to OSU where he spent his freshman year before transferring to USCe for two. I've spoken with people who wouldn't take Lindsey back if he wanted to come. I doubt the staff even contacts him, but that would just be foolish IMHO. He showed a lot of promise.
I think it's gonna be this way from now on - roster getting turned over every year, unless we are willing to pay top dollar. That's the only way to compete now....
No way Melendez stays. He played well again in the first half and barely played in the second half. He would start at most schools. Since his 35 points in the Florida road game, he has barely played.
You may well be right. Melendez does some good stuff. He plays pretty good defense and rebounds pretty well, though he has been an inconsistent shooter. I can't really explain the drop in minutes....Dawg44 said:
