This news is better than a free haircut.
This class could be game changer for UGA. If we can get Rooths as many predict and somehow pull Reid, we are easily top 5 in the country. Add a post and maybe 2-3 guards, and sky's the limit!
I'm hoping for a class that eclipses the Fab 5 Durham put together late - can't remember all five - Strong, Bell, Pertha (?), and I forget the other two . .
Edit: how could I omit Shandon Anderson. And I think Katu Davis rounded out the class..

This program just needs some hope and the non-hoops fans will hop on the bandwagon. I'm tired of watching these "basketball schools" turn football around. Time for us to turn hoops around
NIL is a great leveler for us in hoops. All those kids we have been losing to more traditional hoops powers can be shown the financial benefits of coming to UGA. It may hurt us in football, but it helps in basketball. All the crooked money that was going to recruits before is now legal.
That was a helluva class. Crean's first full class was nice but fell apart. I still think our '79 class was our best ever. Dominique, Terry Fair, Lamar Heard, Derrick Floyd, Mike Mitchell, et al. The '80 class was also very good - Banks, Fleming, etc.Nostradawgus said:
