we had exactly zero point guards on the roster.
we could build a lead , opposition would press down the stretch and we would lose.

Yeah, you can have guys who dribble the ball, but it's not the same as having a PG. We had Turtle Jackson, for one, trying to play PG. We threw a lot of games away late because we couldn't handle pressure.

Having too few guards can be a big problem, particularly if we have any injuries. We are overloaded in the post and thin at guard. I think optimum guard numbers are 5-6.

Yeah, a combo guard or 2 can help, for sure....
