This is beyond head scratching.

The only thing I can think is it is well documented UF has allowed its athletic programs to languish. Brooks must be promising him resources. From a W/L perspective I guess it's …..something. Maybe Jonas comes back anyway.

That's wild, figured he'd be Ole Miss' next coach, whether it was this year or next. He's a smart guy and there's much more potential here than at Ole Miss. To say we "poached" White is a stretch, he escaped before getting canned. Great work by his agent. I like this hire.

Yes, I am not sure this is a failure given where we are, but it seems to have a certain ceiling to it.

There was a good chance that he was going to be fired at Florida this year or next.

With that said, he has had more tournament appearances at UF than we have in the last two decades. He is not terrible although he wasn't winning as much of late. Perhaps he can stabilize the program.
