I wish him well, but I have never seen what others see in him (meaning the value to a team based on either his past production or future potential to warrant being the #1 overall pick, much less in the discussion for it). If he was the best player in college basketball last year, then Crean sucks!

Dwayne Wade is a mighty lofty comparison.

Unless someone can finally convince him to stop jacking 3s and actually attack the basket the way Wade did, I don't think the comparison holds up at all. Wade also had an extreme competitiveness that I have not seen at all from Anthony.

Maybe this is still stuck in his head from Crean's recruiting pitches?

I feel like I heard that same comment every year about Josh Smith when he was with the Hawks. Hope AntMan doesn't turn out like that.
