Unfortunately, it looks unlikely. He could be better off as a FA than a late second rounder anyway, as he can then pick the best situational tryout opportunity.

Yante has a great attitude. He's better off as a free agent than as a 2nd round pick. He can choose which club he wants to go to that gives him the best chance to make it. Wish he had 1 year of eligibility left to play under Crean. Kinda like when Jumaine Jones went in the draft rather than play another year for Harrick. That was a big mistake.

The Heat have had 1 draft choice since 2015. They have no young talent. This should be a good chance for Yante, but he'll make his money somewhere - NBA or overseas.
