On the Fumble:

Yeah, just got to, uh, you know, protect the ball and, um, you know, at the end of the day you got to... Ball security, it's everybody's, uh, livelihood, so I just got to protect the ball.

On Gunner’s turnovers:

Yeah, credit Auburn, they did a good job. They came out and played hard and, um, you know, they, they had a good football team and I just need to execute a little bit better and take care of the ball.

On leaving after the first play:

No. No, no. You got it.

About going into the bye week before Florida:m

Yeah, it's all about how you respond, you know? It's just like life. Life ain't supposed to be fairy tales and, uh, you know, pixie dust. Um, it's all about how you respond and get better and trying to get better every day and with everything we do. So got to attack it.

On Kirby’s message:

That we definitely got to play a little bit better. Auburn, they're a good team, came out and played us hard and, um, but definitely got to attack the bye week and, um, you know, one loss, you know, every one loss team can still do really good things, so...

On UGA’s resiliency:

Our team, we never quit. I feel like that showed. I got to take care of the ball.

On having a hard time moving the ball:

Yeah, I don't know if it was, um, just the movement or, you know, um, just gotta look at it, see if we were executing the right way or what.

On his turnovers:

Yeah, just trying to respond, try not to let it linger and just keep, next play.

On why turnovers today:

What, what- No, it really wasn't at all. Um, you know, we had, we'd, we made sure we buried Bama. We weren't even thinking about that. We had a really good week of prep. Everything was right. You know, sometimes, you have to look at yourself, look at the tape and see what's wrong.

On taking a loss:

I’d never know.

On false sense of security:

On false sense of security going forward

I wouldn't say that. I feel like our team, like we never quit, like we never, um... Like this whole week, we didn't have the or like we didn't think we were on top of the world or nothing like that. We just gotta attack this bye week and get better.

On his fumble:

Yeah, I think it, I think it was a punch out or his helmet hit it. I just gotta get a little bit better as ball security.

So what's the feeling when you see the ball laying there like that for you, um, as a player? How tough is that to look at?

Yeah, it's not a good feeling. Yeah.

On the inteception before the half and Craig Dainderges

Yeah, it's, I'd seen it. He made some good plays tonight. I missed some throws to him, but, um, he's, he's a really good player.

On playing in the SEC and keeping up intensity level:

I think it isn't that hard. When you have a group of guys like in the locker room like we have, um, you know, we always... You show up to the, to the facility wanting to, wanting to play ball.

It's what you dream of. So, um, having that motivation, it isn't, it isn't hard.

On Auburn’s physicality:

We watched the tape. They were physical and, um, we knew we had to be physical. But we'll have to see the tape and just get better.
